Night Mail

This is the night mail crossing the border
Bringing the cheque and the postal order
Letters for the rich
Letters for the poor
The shop at the corner and the girl next door
Scaling the summit
A steady climb
The gradient’s against her
But she’s on time
Past cotton grass and moorland boulder
Casting white plumes over her shoulder
Swift as an arrow she passes
Silent miles of wind-bent grasses

Birds turn their heads as she approaches
Stare from the bushes at her blank-faced coaches
Sheepdogs cannot turn her course
They slumber...

Wilżanka by Sebastian Szmyd

"Though not even a shadow of me will one day linger, today I am here, dancing in the meadows"

Summer storms are the best storms, am I right? Not even hail and the dents on my car will convince me otherwise

Solarpunk Cityscape by Daniele Turturici

I think anyone who stumbles across the Solarpunk genre ends up asking the same question: could a future like this really exist? A world where humans live in true harmony with nature, and tech is here to help us—not control us?

Even though today’s world feels more and more like a cyberpunk dystopia, my answer to that question is still: yes, absolutely.

Because honestly? We already have everything we need to build that kind of future. We just need to start imagining it—more and more.
Taking action is super important, of course. But being able to imagine something is the bare minimum...
