Process gif. Despite the fact that I'm always trying to have a specific design and then executing it, I barely ever do it this way. I usually end up making things up as I go...

My submission for the Proko May 2022 Storytelling Challenge:
https://www.proko.com/lesson/storytelling-sketch-tour-with-moderndayjames/notes
I won 1st prize!
A little backdrop:
In early Christian Poland, the tension between the old pagan faith and Christianity is mounting. Feelings are running high not only between people but also between the spirits of old, folk saints and devils. A new dawn is rising, a war is afoot and those who want to take part the least will come to suffer the most.

The First Satellite by Michael Black

Hey. Here is my personal project.
The world's first artificial Earth satellite, a Soviet spacecraft launched into orbit on October 4, 1957
The code designation of the satellite is "ПС-1" ("The Simplest Sputnik-1"). The launch was carried out from the 5th Tyura-Tam research site of the USSR Ministry of Defense (which later received the open name of the Baikonur cosmodrome) on a Sputnik launch vehicle, created on the basis of the R-7 intercontinental ballistic missile.
The launch of Sputnik-1 became the start of the Space Age of mankind
