Решила я принять участие в народной игре в букву, и получив от Надежды kladovayasolnca буковку, сильно задумалась, что же в моей жизни есть на «т», не считая фамилии.

В начале наверное нужно упомянуть о творчестве.

Творчество  движет миром, развивает его, удерживает  на краю бездны.

Для меня творчество (и свое, и чужое) — это что-то очень позитивное, поднимающее над буднями, вытаскивающее из депрессивных ям, дающее общение с очень интересными людьми. Из многих моих увлечений осталась фотография, хотя понемногу возвращаюсь к шитью (записалась в швейный клуб). Хотелось бы вернуться к вышивке, нужно найти единомышленников.

Надеюсь, вы догадаетесь, работа какого мастера с неудержимой фантазией на фото. А...

WHOA … I’ve won the inaugural Luca Trevisan Award for Expository Work in Theoretical Computer Science! This has a particular meaning for me as someone who knew Luca Trevisan as well as I did for 25 years — who had him as a professor and thesis committee member, whose blog bounced off his blog, who benefitted tremendously from his expository work in TCS — before Luca tragically succumbed to cancer two years ago.
