BugTraq.Ru: Microsoft Authenticator прекращает поддержку паролей

Microsoft выпиливает работу с паролями из Microsoft Authenticator для того, чтобы упростить использование автозаполнения на различных устройствах (не спрашивайте, мне эта логика тоже непонятна). С июня 2025 Authenticator перестанет генерировать и импортировать пароли, с июля Authenticator перестанет работать с автозаполнением, с августа паролей в Authenticator не останется вообще. При этом сохраненная в аккаунте Microsoft информация о паролях останется доступной через Edge. Плюс в Authenticator останется поддержка passkeys.

Hack an der Ruhr 2025 – Hacken unter den Sternen

Vom 19. bis 20. Juli 2025 findet zum 4. Mal Hack an der Ruhr statt – ein Wochenende voller Technik, Austausch, spontaner Sessions und gemütlichem Camp-Feeling. Die Anreise und der Aufbau beginnen bereits am Freitag, 18. Juli. Ihr seid eingeladen, schon am Freitag anzureisen. Der Abbau erfolgt am Sonntag nach dem gemeinsamen Frühstück.

Neben Zeltplätzen stehen auch Schlafplätze im Haus zur Verfügung. Diese können direkt über das Ticketsystem gebucht werden, einige Betten sind noch frei. Nicht vergebene Plätze werden vor Ort nach Ankunft verteilt, solange der Vorrat reicht.

Der Tübix ist ein jährlich stattfindender Linuxtag in der Universität Tübingen mit etwa 250 Besucherinnen und Besuchern.

mkosi-initrd enablement on openSUSE (osc25)

`mkosi-initrd` is a tool for building initrds using distribution packages that is gaining interest among systemd distributions, and can currently be used on openSUSE Tumbleweed. We will analyze in detail how it works, its weaknesses and its benefits, in order to ultimately try to provoke a change of mindset in developers accustomed to thinking only about `dracut` when implementing functionalities that have to run in the initrd.
