GNUnet 0.12.1 released
We are pleased to announce the release of GNUnet 0.12.1.
This is a very minor release. It largely fixes one function that is
needed by GNU Taler 0.6.0. Please read the release notes
for GNUnet 0.12.0, as they still apply. Updating is only recommended
for those using GNUnet in combination with GNU Taler.
GNUnet 0.12.0
GNUnet 0.12.0 released
We are pleased to announce the release of GNUnet 0.12.0.
This is a new major release. It breaks protocol compatibility with the 0.11.x versions.
Please be aware that Git master is thus henceforth
INCOMPATIBLE
with
the 0.11.x GNUnet network, and interactions between old and new peers
will result in signature verification failures. 0.11.x peers will
NOT
be able to communicate with Git master or 0.12.x peers.
In terms of usability, users...

GNUnet 0.11.8
GNUnet 0.11.8 released
We are pleased to announce the release of GNUnet 0.11.8.
This is a hotfix release for 0.11.7.
As always:
In terms of usability, users should be aware that there are still
a large number of known open issues
in particular with respect to ease of use, but also some critical privacy issues especially for mobile users. Also, the nascent network is tiny (about 200 peers) and thus unlikely to provide good anonymity or extensive amounts of...

Weaponizing and Gamifying AI for WiFi Hacking: Presenting Pwnagotchi 1.0.0
https://player.vimeo.com/video/367423810
This is the story of a summer project that started out of boredom and that evolved into something incredibly fun and unique. It is also the story of how that project went from being discussed on a porch by just two people, to having a community made of almost 700 awesome people (and counting!) that gathered, polished it and made today’s release possible.
TL;DR: You can download the 1.0.0 .img file from here, then just follow the instructions.
If you want the long version instead, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Let me tell you: it’s going to be quite a...
GNS Specification Milestone 1/4
GNS Technical Specification Milestone 1/4
We are happy to announce the completion of the first milestone for the GNS Specification. The objective is to provide a detailed and comprehensive guide for implementors of the GNU Name System. The initial milestone consists of documenting the cryptographic principles of GNS data structures. This includes the specification of the GNS record wire and serialization formats as well as internationalization.
NOTE: The currently specified protocol is planned to be implemented for GNUnet 0.12. The current GNS implementation (0.11) exhibits minor but compatibility breaking deviations from this specification.
