Proper BT TX to Chinese phone

So, I’ve got this cheap Chinese phone ’cause it takes two SIMs and isn’t too pricey, perfect if something breaks. It works alright, does what it’s supposed to, and ignores the rest. But here’s the kicker – it says it has Bluetooth, but all it really does is work in headset mode. No A2DP support means no decent Bluetooth speakers for me.

I had some leftover modules from another project (that I tell you one day). Turns out, one of them might just fit inside and give it the A2DP boost it was missing.

First, I had to clear out all the extra stuff inside.

Following a method I’d used before in ETG prject, I made a spot for the light and drilled a hole for a switch. Plus, I figured out how to keep the speaker on even when headphones are plugged in, by adding a manual switch on the back.

It took a bit of time, messing around with where to put everything, but eventually, my phone sounds better and I can listen the music.

I’ve written all this and I think that I could install switching MOSFET instead of a flashlight. Why I need a flashlight in my phone?….
Probably a couple more weeks of torture with the button and I’ll get to that too.

PS The soundtrack of the post my life :)
